I just got our S80 back from the dealership for routine maintenance. I asked for a readout on the brake pads (we're at 30k and still on the originals), and they noted 8 mm front and 9 mm rear remaining. This doesn't give me much context--what did they start out at, and what is the wear limit on them? Do the factory pads have squealer springs (don't plan on waiting that long, but helpful to know)? I meant to ask the service writer, but I couldn't find her before I left.
