Is there a support bar above the spare tire on the '99 XC? V70-XC70 1999

Hello All,

I bought a 1999 XC used. I have been told, but I want to confirm, that this model and particular model came with a support bar that was perpendicular to the sides of the car. This support bar was directly above the spare tire (a temporary - dougnut tire).

Anybody with a '99 XC that he/she obtained brand new, who can confirm if this car did come with the support bar described? Thanks to all.
