Any opinions are appreciated.
I've owned 5 volvos, and mostly loved them all. (244,745,760T,960,s70) The T part of my 760T gave me lots of trouble.
My favorite was the 745. Bulletproof. Both the S70 and the 960 made me a little nervous, just because of the interference style engines.
I've moved to Latvia (Old Europe, part of former USSR) for 1 year, and need a brick to get me around for a year. I'll probably drive 20000 miles in that time. I've just looked at a 95 850 wagon, that has an aftermarket LPGas/Gasoline system. A switch in the console selects which fuel you're burning. I've driven the car, and seen both fuels work. It has a little hesitation on the LP fuel, but nothing serious. The car has 177000km on it and is in good general condition. The price is a little under going rate, but not a steal. Should I let the dual fuel scare me off?
How about an 850 with a diesel in it? How happy might I be with one of those?
Thanks in advance.
