sway bars 850

Can I tell by the way my car handles if my sway bar bushings need to be replaced. I have aturggin in the stearing wheel on clover leafs, and the overall rides seems a little unstable. apparenly shocks and struts are okay, bu ti might go ahead and have them replaced anyway.
