I would go with either Pirelli or/ Toyo tires.
Mind you ! ... the Pirelli aren't so great in the snow. The Pirelli P6000 SportVelocites (195/60VR15) performs EXCELLENT in dry & wet conditions.
The tread life is quite reasonable for its tire size.
Toyo are more on the agressive side, if you know what I mean. I run a set of low-profile Toyo summer tires on 17" "R" rims during the summer months.
... as long as you DON'T buy back Michelin MXV4 tires ! I only have a 4-letters word for them - SUCKS !
