Ben, I love my S70 with a 5-speed. If I had an auto N/A S70, I would probably be frustrated. With manual gearbox I can keep the engine in the 4K-5K rpm sweetspot and it really shines there. Requires a little more skill than a turbo and even then it is much less powerful, but it holds its own and I surprise many sports car owners with it. All that on 87 octane gas. Never had a problem with it, never noticed a difference worth $0.20/gallon with premium. I do use the fuel system cleaner regularly and have started using DurAlt recently. No noticeable performance improvements, but is supposed to keep the engine internals clean.

P.S. My car is a base model and I often find myself skipping huge chunks of this forum because it doesn't apply to me. No sunroof, no headlight wipers, no power seats, no turbo, no auto tranny, no AWD. I just summarized 80% of the AWD/FWD traffic.
