Talk to me about 17 PSI chips 850 1995

I have a 14 PSI SAM chip now but the lure of 17 psi is distracting. Does anyone know if there are any reliability issues with 17PSI? Anything else that must be upgraded to accomodate that level? Is there a significant difference? I currently run a K&N and 2.5" Hi-Flow Cat setup.
