Steve, the warrantee book I am reading from came with my 2000-2001 S80, not the 1998 S70 I leased from April '98 to July '01. The back cover has the publication number "WTY 570.01.01 Rev 12/00". I think this warranty version is unique to Vermont, Massachusetts, and California.

It is quite possible that 1999-2001 S70 models have more liberal coverage terms.
