Just my luck! There is no good reason to change the belt early, it is designed to easily run for 105K and after the 1999 debacle of bad tensioners, the tensioner also can be trusted to last past 105K miles.

That is like changing the filter and engine oil every 3K while using synthetic. Not really needed, and a waste of money as far as I am concerned.
