Simplified Timing Belt Question S60

05 Volvo s60 w/ VVT.

My question is this...do I need to lock the cams? I have read that it can be done without locking the cams if you are careful.

Also I have called AutoZone, NAPA, O'Reily, and Advance and none of them seem to know what I am talking about when I say a cam locking tool. Do they just not carry them or is it called something else.

If they do have them, is there one that is better on the Volvo than another.

Please help...trying to get to this tbelt issue tomorrow!!
