oil consumption S60 2001

Don't worry about not having a vacuum gauge, the glove trick works just as well. Every oil change, inspect the cam seals on both ends of the engine for leaking oil.

For some engines, they don't 'break in' well, meaning the piston ring tolerances are not perfect and they will burn some oil. No need to worry about that, there is nothing that can be done to fix it. Just make sure you check the oil level every other tank full of gasoline.

If it stops raining over there, go for a picnic.
