Stop neutral software no longer available V70-XC70 2001

Took the wife's 01 V70 2.4T into the Volvo dealer to have the TCM software updated and the "stop neutral" function turned off.

The service adviser told us the "software part" which disables the stop neutral function is no longer available from Volvo. The dealer did update the software to the latest revision but as I understand it, the stop neutral has not been disabled.

Has anyone else encountered this?
