The T5 has 300bhp? and is really fun to toss around. It is FWD only. But, one of the options is self leveling rear suspension (expensive Nivomats) which negates installing HD springs or shocks. Nivomats have an accordian dust boot on the bottom end, regular shocks do not. Just something to keep in mind, most T5's came with regular suspension.
The light pressure turbo generates 200 or so BHP, which is good enough for normal driving. The boost kicks in at around 1500 rpm making it nicely responsive at city speeds. The high pressure turbo waits until about 3000 rpm before you get full boost, and then you get pushed back in the seat.
The T5 can be driven in a docile manner, depending on the weight of the right foot.
