There is no stop leak product that will slow down a gusher like yours. Obviously, a seal came loose due to shoddy work. I would approach the shop manager and tell him that his 'fix' didn't work and he should repair it as the problem happened under warranty.

An SUV for 6 footers? You mean a Suburban? A minivan would be better suited and still get 24mpg. Just the status thing, I suppose.
