I took Mike H's advice and had an independent mechanic check it out. He said that he didn't feel a problem, so that's 3 for 3. So perhaps this feeling is just normal for this drivetrain. Also I agree with you about the ain't broke don't fix it philosophy, so I think I'll just keep driving it and see what happens. But in the meantime I might take your clutch bleed suggestion, and I also heard changing the gearbox oil may help. Maybe I'm being too much of a perfectionist.
