Billy,
I'm in the same boat. I spent a butt-load of dough on speakers and a sub+amp but now the sub over powers the speakers!!! After a lot of research, I found an amp that will power the speakers while receiving the high-level inputs from the stock head w/out sacrificing audio quality. You probably have an SC-811. If this is true, there is another option to connect an aftermarket amp to power your infinities. In the back of the Head Unit, there is a 7 pin DIN for amp-out. You might be able to find the schematics from the net and solder your own amp-out DIN to connect to any aftermarket amp. This way the amp gets the low-level signal and is able to amplify the sound perfectly will the least dist. I'm thinking of just doing this too....
