I noticed that you have a non-turbo car. A reduced backflow system will not buy you as much performance increase as a turbo car, so probably it is best to stay somewhere around stock.

Any aftermarket facility will quote you a great price for a lifetime system. Try several in your area and compare results. I'm betting that the leak is after the resonator and most likely in or near the muffler, so the actual cost for a replacement should be $100.00 or less. I had two mufflers and a resonator with all the pipes installed for around $200.00 at a muffler shop in Sandy Eggo.
