Winter Tires on T5 850 1995

u can go 15 if u'd like...there r more choices that size for winter tires...i've had some pilot alpin 205-50-16...so so i my opinion...i would try some blizzaks if i were u...they have good reviews in snow and ice. the n/a and glt model oem size should work just fine (15")...unless u have 302 mm brakes in the front...which is unlikely (will be found on some r cars). anyway, buy a set of good snow cables (lower profile, chains too bulky)...with those snow tires on steel rims (or alloy) and u should be fine. if u start to slip too much in 1st gear...try starting in 3rd ... that's what the winter mode in automatics do. should work the same in manual...all gas...no movement =)
