Air Pump - Part 2 !!! V70-XC70 1998

Mine did the exact same thing.
Check engine light...P0410 code.
Removed air pump and checked....no water but it was shorted.
Check engine light reset since battery was out to remove the pump.
Ran with no pump while waiting for replacement from internet order.
Check engine light re-appeared, code P0410 with no pump installed.
Replaced pump and check valve and check engine light has not re-appeared since (2 months)
Mileage and performance is better with new pump.
