1993 850 Transmission Code 2-2-2 850

I have had the PNP (3-1-3) code and recently replaced my PNP sensor. After a short drive same thing!!! Trans only takes off in 3rd. Periodically, it works fine (doesn't last long)!! I have again checked codes from A1 and now find 2-2-2. I have read discussion about the S1/S2 solenoid. Based on what I can find out the code is "Break in the S2 circuit". Where is the S2 circuit? Where is the S2 solenoid? Can I change the solenoid??? How is it changed?? Can the resistance be measured at a plug/connector?? Please any help would be appreciated!!
