This site has instuctions on common problems including vacuum
lines. The most common leaking line is hard to find (under
the intake manifold) and the photos at this site will help.

Note that volvo rotors should not be turned. At 78K it probably
needs new rotors (about $60 each for OEM). If you have a micrometer
you might want to measure them. The above mentioned web site has
advice on this under their brakes section, too.
