FM Radio Cutting Out 850 1996

I am having the exact same problem, although I've had my 96 850 Wagon for about 4 years now. Last week, the FM reception started getting very choppy and full of static. Nothing out of the ordinary happened to the car, and the FM reception had always been great. I was just about to look into replacing the antenna, but you've saved me that step. Anyone out there know what's going on? Thanks.
