Seal Woes 850

Thanks for your tip - I think I saw a little oil reflecting light around the oil filler. I saw a flame trap kit on eEuroParts:

http://www.eeuroparts.com/dwos-bin/dynamic2.pl?nccust=eEuroparts.com&code=FT/L

Does this kit contain everything I need to complete this procedure? I thought I saw somwhere that the flame trap should be somewhere in the $20 area. If there is oil coming out of the filler cap, does this indicate that there is excessive crankcase pressure?

One other, possible unrelated question: my idle seems a little on the high side (a touch under 1000 RPM - is this normal?) when warm and lately, while the car is still cool, the idle drops down to about 800 and then comes back up to normal when coming to a stop. I guess my cold idle valve might be clogged or dirty - is there any way to clean this?

Thanks again for any advice.
