when mine was replaced they didnt seat the o ring properly and there were gas leaks on hot days. you may want to inspect the vacuum lines that are part of the evap system in that area, while your there replace them, my local volvo tech says that is where they go bad and trigger codes, just above ,around the tank and filler neck.
