Buying used wheels 850

Hi, Can anyone tell me what to watch out for with buying used alloy rims. I have steel now and thought it would be nice to have some better looks in the warm weather and snow tires on the steel wheels in the winter. Of course with used it is impossible to know iflugs were ever tightened to proper spec, but does this ruin the wheel? Warping? Out of round? How do you check? Should I just look for dents dings and other cosmetics?
What would you do?
