Thanks for the great explanation. I'm curious though, what are the symptoms of a failing Throttle Control Module - or does it just die? As I mentioned in an earlier post, I just replaced the MAS, and although fuel economy has increased as a result, it still seems to have declined from pre MAS failure levels. Thanks
