Geesh! My module failed at 'only' 140,000 miles! 850 1995

A BMW or Benz with that kind of mileage, most likely is similar of thicker than Volvo partly due to it's complex electronic controller system. Volvo system is still not as complex as those brand name cars yet. The repair cost is gaurantee higher than Volvo for sure.
