What are you talking about...discontinued? They've already designed the '07 and people are raving about it. I don't think Volvo is going to do away with its convertible for some time. Shaking in the front is normal? Once again, what are you guys talking about? It's not normal and with good suspension parts it can and should be fixed (like another poster I would recommend IPD antisway bars and stut brace to really tighten things up, and it will be loads of FUN to drive). By the way, the original poster of this thread still hasn't told us the price he is considering. Without that information how is one to know if this car is a good deal or not.
