Hello all, I've been here a million times for fixing things over the years.
Sadly, I am letting go of this 1989 Volvo 245 DL. Had it since 2010. The redblock is still strong as an ox and I've handled all the electrical issues...needs some suspension work, but still has another 100K on her I feel....Perfect for someone with a garage or yard to use her as a beater or work on the body. The rust is not too good on it, but I was living by the beach for a while so the salt air did not help...its' back in Brooklyn away from the ocean but the rust is there in some spots, dings and there's some other minor issues that need dealing with but it will get you from point A to point B no problem. Starts up everytime and runs great. Things replaced over the years: -blower motor replaced 2012(no heat prior!) -trail arm bushings replaced 2013 -clutch and clutch cable replaced 2016 -battery and alternator replaced together 2021 -in-line fuel pump replaced 2020 -in-tank pre-pump replaced 2020 -ignition coil replaced 2021 -timing belt replaced 2018 or 2019 -volvo R15 Virgo rims -new windshield wiper motor -idle air control valve 5-7 years old -engine mounts replaced 2020 -brake pads and calipers over the years Things that need to be done: -rear shocks and maybe trail arm bushings -front shocks (which I have and will throw in the deal, Bilsteins) -brake pads Give me your email and I will send you pictures, I do not know how to attach pictures here.
