Volvo 2007 XC 70 AWD Cross Country CUV/crossover/wagon for sale.

New Price 2/9/24 - motivated seller - would love to see this car going to a Volvo enthusiast - you won't be disappointed in the condition of this Cross Country.

Barents blue metallic with tan leather interior. Excellent condition - all power options; everything works as it should: power windows, door locks, sunroof, power seats, all cupholders working - no broken bits; park assist, cruise control, front tires less than 3K miles on them, plenty of tread on rears. This is a well-cared for XC 70 that needs a new home. It has a fresh oil and filter change, and a new battery. Headlights just replaced - both clear as a bell. Freshly detailed inside and out. Just had my mechanic go through the car - no codes or trouble lights. No leaks, starts right up every time. Rust-free Florida car. Great for a new driver, or a second or third car. Would make a good daily driver. Have Owner's manual, cargo cover, tool kit and jack - all items that can disappear from older cars. Message me through the site or call/text Tom 407-259-7 four one two. $4,350 - best cash offer. Local pickup or I will be happy to assist with shipping arranged by buyer. I can provide more photos to anyone with serious interest. Bring the family to Central Florida and drive it home. This would be a great car to keep at a vacation home.

Mileage is 209,300. Also wanted to mention that the steering wheel position sensor was just changed out, which is apparently a pretty common failure on these vehicles and a NEW $400 OEM Volvo part (purchased from a dealer, not eBay) was used, so the new owner won't have to worry about that any time soon...Smoke free. I purchased a replacement lighter to fill the empty 12V hole, but no smoke smell and the ashtray is pristine. I need to hit that stain with some Tuff Stuff - it will probably come up. All the cupholders are present and working in the front and rear armrests/console and dash. Full disclosure, the vanity mirror cover on the passenger side sun visor needs a new door. This car is super clean inside and has not been beaten up as a "soccer mom" special. The rear cargo cover is present and works, the original owners' manual, cover etc. is present. I have the orignal key with the flip out blade/remote and the second original "standard" key. Tool kit is present, as is the plastic tray over the spare in the cargo compartment.

There have been a couple of inquiries about the "rebuilt" title, which I disclosed in my Craigslist post.

I acquired this car from friend of a friend here in Florida who knew that I was a "car guy" who liked older Volvos. I have owned many Volvos over the years (5 -240's; 3 - 740's wagons, one 850 sedan and a 960.) They owned this car for years and were buying a new car. The dealership offered them squat for it on trade in, and they didn't want to try to sell it themselves, so they sold it to me at a price I couldn't refuse. The battery had died, and they had a couple of trouble lights on, including the traction control, which turned out to be the steering wheel position sensor, plus it needed a good detailing and the original headlights were very cloudy and needed to be replaced. I have addressed all of these issues, including replacing both front headlights with OEM quality parts, and installing the correct NEW Volvo steering wheel positon sensor. No codes or trouble lights now - the car starts right up and runs great. It has been parked in my garage, and there are no drips or leaks - the floor is clean.

The story I got from the PO (previous owner) is that they purchased the car from famly members in Tennessee who had it for years and had acquired it from a dealer there. The car had been in an accident which damaged the front end. During the repair process, the Tennessee title had been branded as a rebuild, which means that the insurance company declared it a total loss instead of paying to fix it, and someone bought it from them and did the repair to save the car from the salvage yard. When this happens, the State will inspect the car post repair and document this as a "brand" on the title. When the Florida title was issued, the brand was noted and shows on the title that I have in my name. The title, which is essentially a proof of ownership, is "clean" meaning that there are no loans/liens or encumberances to the ownership of the vehicle, and I have it currently registered, insured and tagged in Florida. I have been driving the car, but I just picked up a 1991 BMW as my new "fun/weekend" car so I don't have room or $ to keep it and need to find it a new home.

There is a mark on the timing cover showing a timing belt replacement at 78K miles, but no date. I've just changed the oil with Mobil one and a Mann oil filter, changed the engine air filter (again, Mann), and also changed the cabin air filter, which was WAY overdue! New Bosch wiper blades front & back. Can't speak to the PCV.
