After I filed the two welds flat I hit the braided wire pigtail with a soldering iron. Brushes popped out. Drilled using a #52 or 54 bit. Do not use anything larger.

Useful on 240, also, to limit CPS/RPM sensor cable movement before you dress, or layer in, the CPS/RPM sensor cable into the wire harness along the firewall and secure the sensor cable and wire harness cable connectors together.
