| The brush lead can be seen going into the end of the bracket. At the other end is a spring that hooks and provides inward tension against the commutator. Further down from that spring is a hook that clips to the motor frame. |

| This is the route I took to re-route the wires that go underneath the timing belt cover...mine had pinched the big starter to alternator wire, and the wrap on on the ignition module wires was getting damaged. This seems like a good route for the wires. They have since been wrapped and stowed out of the way of the fan and the heat of the exhaust manifold |
