The BrickBoard has become impossibly hard to load & post on, Jarrod was underappreciated & is badly missed.

    Jarrod is not gone but he does have a business to attend to so that would take precedence over the Brickboard.

    Participation is at an all time low it seems. Attrition, disinterest and a change in brand loyalty all play a part. And there is also the lack of monetary support.

    Are you a financial contributor?

      I donated twice under the original contributor scheme, I think my contributor status stayed on when Jarrod moved the BrickBoard to an AWS server. What about you?

      Today 20250202 is the 1st time I have been able to post here in two months. 99% of the time I just get a 504 error.

      The posts I’ve read indicate that no one knows what is going on with Jarrod?? He has not responded to anyone and hasn’t posted himself. It’s a mystery whether he is still administering the BB or has sold it as others have speculated.

      The error messages we receive are from Cloudfront. Cloudfront is a cloud service owned by AWS (Amazon Web Services). So perhaps Amazon is involved on some level? Another possibility is Jarrod is using Cloudfront for storage and it simply isn’t working very well. Who knows?? Whether the BB survives remains to be seen….

          Wow! I got on twice in a week!! What a revelation…

          That’s the copyright. Dave Stevens posted months ago on the RWD forum that he had renewed it. Whether that actually happened I don’t know. Even if he didn’t it doesn’t necessarily mean he is gone…
