IMO, over a few years there will probably be better sales of silicone hoses that are close in character to the originals. i.e. black and not too shiney. Once your manufacturer has the moulds made and approved, having them available in colours like blue or red won't be a problem anyway. Bright blue seems to be the favourite amongst racers/ricers etc but as factory preformed hoses get harder to find, being able to get black ones would be good. After doing a good standard restoration and wanting the engine bay close to stock and then having to fit red/yellow/blue hoses doesn't help if you show the car at any level. Certainly my question if being shown under the hood would be "why, after spending all that time and money, didn't you fit black hoses?"
