Strapping down a 240 onto a flatbed for hauling question 200

My preference would be ratcheting tie downs over the wheels.

If memory serves, there were originally factory transport hooks, either a metal eye or a heavy plastic one, same as used on the later 700/900s. I was once told the plastic hooks were often removed by dealer service during prep as they weren't designed for use by tow trucks.
