I vaguely recall my '89 LH2.4 B234F had a Schrader valve, but I may be incorrect.

In my 940s, B230FD & B230FT with LH2.4, both have good access between intake runner #1 & #2 to attach the Ford adapter and then connect a standard pressure gauge to it by running it up from underneath between the runners. Getting a tire gauge on it is more difficult.
