manual heater controls..totally different to Faq/Haynes...adjustment & ac 900

ok, spent most of today with the entire dash in bits....

this car is seriously starting to hack me off! the vater valve is DEFINATELY controlled by 2 cables from the rotary controller on the dash! the valve is sited on the inside of the firewall at the point where the intake pipe enters. Its working, but not shutting off all the flow..hence the heater core stays on a bit..so god knows what the air con is doing...looks liek a right PITA to change too!

Their is not a single vacume motor in site! the air distribution is controlled by 2 cables and the recirc via an electric motor (nut thats part of an after market aircon setup that has been installed.

Thinking of just selling the car it just doesnt make sense..maybe time to go back to volkswagen who at least make everything the same...
