Injectors 700 1984

Hi!New to this but here goes...
I have a 1984 760turbo. My problem is I or rather the car has a leaky injector.
Have changed both seals and even changed ports to no avail. Is there some way of
fixing said headache short of buying new injector($$$$$). Why does this occur?
thanks.

If you're near a pick-your-part place drop in and grab one. They're usually really cheap. If you don't mind a few days wait I can get one for you the next time I'm there. Are yours green or yellow?

By leaky, do you mean it leaks constantly into the cylander(sp?) or does it leak outside of the injector into the engine bay?

If A)
To put it "Technically" your injector may be blocked with "gunk" that is stopping the injector from opening and closing properly. You could try to clean it. There is a proper way to clean it, and there is my way. Do it the proper way. Or pay for an in car injector clean where they run chemicals through everything. I think it is relatively cost effective

If B)

I have no idea, pull a 2nd hand injector and try that.

I just had a problem with my uncles car-240 model and bought four injectors at a great price from these people and they worked out great for him-thinking now of doing the same for my 960--the denso injectors are the ones I speaking of.

Hope that helps
