Are there any websites/FAQs that details the step-by-step and lists the items needed for a flathood conversion? I've done a search and can't find any. All the sites I see show the cars already converted. I appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Be sure to get the hood latch from the flat hood, the one from the later hood will not work.

There really isn't much to it, take off old hood, bolt on flathood. Get grill from early 240 with the flathood and cut the ends off, use small #10 bolts to replicate the tabs on the bottom outsides and slip it in. I seem to have lost the page that showed more detail on the grill fabrication but here is an overview.
