for my 1980 242gt w/B21F? I hear a D cam is good, while with a K cam I will lose low end torque. What about the VX? any suggestions?? i need more power for my NA!!

K - find one from a B23E, or get a B23E. Lot of grunt at 3000+.

A is fine for heavy loads, spinning the tires from a start, and winter time, but it's no fun otherwise, it dies with +3000 rpm.

I have no experience with this kind, but a week or so ago, I guy (who I think was from Canada) mentioned how happy he was that he had found an 'A' cam because it provided so much more low (rpm) end pulling power compared to the standard cam.

it depends - do you have auto or stick? K has great top end - with a lumpy idle - good for stick. vx is suppose to be good. Try do a search for cams on the performance section on turbobricks.com, they have alot of info and discussion on the different types of cams. If you ask they will tell you to put a turbocharger on it :)
