I was wondering if anyone has seen a picture of a v90 converted to a truck?

Never seen that and hope I don't have too. That would be a shame to take a classic looking car and destroy it in that manner. Would look rather silly I should think.

If someone needs a truck why not buy one. Chevy S10's are great.

good point, but here's my reason why.

I own a Volvo only salvage yard. We rebuild wrecked Volvo's, sell new and used parts, body shop and service.

This v90 we bought 5 years ago with 30,000 miles and a non-repairable title.
The car had ran over a curb and knocked a hole in the oil pan, that's it.

Being a dealer, we put a oil pan on it and have been driving it on a dealer tag every since. Now with 210,000 miles it's still to good a car to part out.

So, we're going to make a delivery vehicle out of it instead of sending it to the bone yard.

Sounds as if you have an interesting business going. Where are you located?

We are located in Arkansas.

I think there is an conversion here in Sweden made by a company called Solstad. The company is now closed...out of money (I´d googled after it but didn´t find anything!) But I´m sure that they made a 960 truck. They cut of the roof behind the front doors.

Sounds like an interesting project your up to!!
