I have a nearly new replacement York (mfg in 2002 by CCC) compressor to install on my 245Ti w/R12.

I plan on using Esther Oil - but need to know what quantity used to fill the sump. Also, where / what retailer carries a/c compressor oil?

    Hello Robert: I can give you the original system refrigerant oil capacity, if you give me the year of the car. Most good auto parts/supply houses will carry the POE oil.

        The original system capacity is 10.2 oz. You may have to adjust that amount down a couple of ounces depending on the condition of the rest of the system. ie. if anything else has been replaced, or flushed, or not.
