Alternator question 700

Does anyone know if the exciter wire connects to the large gray plug over on the driver's side of the 700 series cars? I'm thinking it does and I see one red wire in that bunch. I have to run a temporary wire to my alternator until I get the new engine wiring harness.

Thanks,
Dave

This may vary with YEAR of car, but my '93 diagrams show it going thru an 8-pin connector in what they call the "Left wheel housing harness".

      Bruce,

Found it. It's right where your diagram shows it to be. The car is now running again and hopefully we'll get a warm day so that I can install the new harness.

      Thanks,
      Dave
