Overdrive Relay , Solinoid Bypass? 900 1994

Okay, I've tried re-heating the solder on the relay. Yes they did use as little solder as possible, but it still was a no-go.
I have not checked fuse #12 yet.
Is there a way to by pass the overdrive solinoid on the 940 all together? I don't use it anyway, in fact I have never used it.

Thanks again

Dude I would go buy a new one...and not deal with the drama of soldering.

Three possibilities:

1) If circuitry from OD relay to Solenoid is good, pull the relay and plug a jumper wire between relay rack terminals 15 and 87 (look on relay for terminal numbers).

2) IPD now sells a bypass plate to install after removing the solenoid (www.ipdusa).

3) Search here (top of page) on... solenoid bypass ... several people have neutered their solenoids.
