No start, flooded? 200 1986

Parked the 245, running perfectly, went out the next morning to start, wouldn't. Checked fuel pumps were running, they are. Checked that I had spark at the plugs, I did. Checked to see if it had jumped time. Yes. replaced belt, made sure marks were aligned and cams were not 180deg. off. Still no start. Replaced plugs which were several years old. They were wet with fuel. Allowed cyliders to 'dry'. Replaced plugs, almost starts at first then plugs become drenched. Same thing this morning. Any ideas? please? Thanks!

I'd guess the belt is off a few notches, since it was running before it went bad and you replaced it.

Hand turn it to 0° on the crank pulley...
Verify Camshaft 0° marks...
Dist rotor centerline should be about 3/16" past* 0° tic mark on dist body.

* This assumes dist timing previously set to 12±2° before TDC.
