1992 non-turbo 940 questions 900

Hello all, I have been a Volvo 240 owner for 12 years and 8 cars. Just purchased a rust free 1992 for daughter that needs work. I have questions.

1.No brake lights-Similar system to the 240 I presume, have not had a chance to look carefully in daylight?
2.Needs rear brakes, grinding. Should be similar again? Same rotors as 240?
3. Sunroof motor not operating sunroof.
4.What is recommended to renew older leather seats? Meguire's?

Have tried to search for trouble spots and have not found many.
Advice opinions sought.Mnay thanks in advance.

240 and 940 brake work is VERY similar, but not identical, procedure in FAQs.

FCP Groton has every parts you need, tell Nick or Scott the year/model, they usually have the part numbers memorized (they still check on the computer). IMHO, get the zimmerman or brembo rotors, quality Axxis pads for the rear, Textar pads for the front (they have built in shims). Rear hardware kit is $5 for both sides.

There is great comparitive info on these models in FAQs.

good luck
