245 back up lights flashing

1990 245 wagon with M47 stick shift.

A man in town allerted me that my back up lights are flashing intermitaly as I drive down the road.
Electrical diagnoses are always fun.

Any ideas where to look for this problem?

I FOUND IT !!

2 bare wires around the shifting linkage area that when touched make the circuit and illuminated the back up lights.

Nuetral safety switch and/or shifter bushings.
