wiper blades, what is your preference?

I currently have Anco 20" blades and they're about due for replacement. Wondering what ya'll use, how they've performed, and how long they've lasted? Also, do you use refills (cartridges) or do you replace the entire blade?

Thanks, looking forward to hearing from some people!

I am using Ultimate Wiper Blades, but I think I got mine at Autozone for $18.00 a piece as opposed to the $29.99 listed on the website.

I bought these because the blades on my '93 945 seemed to be original and "tired" so I was looking at $10.00 per side anyway. Seeing as how I have never been all that crazy about the performance of wiper blades in general, I figured I had nothing to lose.

Well, i was right. These blades are unreal. There is no exposed metal so they are great in the winter. There is a built in airfoil to keep them down. (I also had this on my original Volvo blades) and the rubber is attached to a piece of spring steel so there is a consistent pressure across the entire blade.

Easily worth the $s for such a vital safety item.

I have no affiliation and all that stuff...just a satisfied user.

I use Bosch on both cars. Replace them every year (6.000 miles), but I won't say they are worn out by then. I'm quite happy with them, but I should add that I haven't used anything else in decades.

Erling.
