What else should I keep of my dead 240? 200 1990

I bought an 89-245 with lots of miles, but in great shape to replace my crashed 90-244.

This is what I have taken from the 90:

ECU; ICU; FPR; IACV; Coil; Battery (it survived, go figure); Alternator; Dist. Cap; Wires; Washer Pump and tank; Vacuum lines; AMM; Throttle body; Fuel Pre-pump; Wiper Motor; All of the Relays; Visors; (can't keep the seats, not enough room); Bulbs, Window switches; Misc. trim.; two tires..

I would like to get the water pump, but I don't think it made it. I am trying to get the sensors on the engine, but I can't get them out yet.

Can you get to the window motors? Is the fuel rail worth keeping?

I feel like I am missing something...

Any suggestions?

If it had heated seats, grab the seat heater relays from underneath the seats.
Save all the plastic fasteners holding on various panels. Save the fog light switch and wiring sub-harness, in case you add lighting to your new 245.

If you are under the dash and not planning to keep these, I could use the 14-pin vehicle harness connectors for the radio and amplifier, and if not too big a PITA, the round 6-pin din cable connecting the radio with the amp.

    Ditto the ignition power stage.

The fuse box perhaps- they like to get all green with oxides.

Bulb out relay. Turn signal relay. Headlight system relay on firewall in front of brake pedal. Taillights. Parking brake console if not cracked.
Glovebox if still in one piece. Door pockets. Lower front door wide plastic trim- seen a lot of these fall off lately. Spare tire strap (always missing). Jack if it's not bent at the top. Coil (they can fail). Wiper arms (lot of them strip out). Power window switches. Trunk light. Under hood light. Hood hinges if not bent. Antenna. Trim clips, covers, fasteners for interior stuff. Timing cover pieces?

Good luck with the new one!

Thanks, Rob. I would give you my tail-lights, but they are cracked and pititful. Good info for extras to grab. I was able to get the power stage; it survived the front impact quite well (I was surprised).

      Don

I grabbed the fuel rail off a dead 200. It ended up a used the Fuel Pump Regulator off it to help a friend. So it was worth it.

Grab the Flame trap hoses. The top one is custom and they can split. also it's nice to just swap out the Flame trap holders and then clean the one you just pulled for another quick swap in the future.

The dopey long screws used for the AC and Alternator Belt tensioning.

Injectors and rail, yes. The rails have a tendency to crack and weaken in spots so I would keep one around. Instrument cluster too.
