How can I tell if my rear end is a spicer or salisbury rear end. It has a gear ratio of 4.1 and a ten bolt cover. It came out of a 1964 122S. Thanks alot.

Simple: Spicer licensed the design to Salisbury; they're the same except the manufacturer. The Spicer 27 in my '63 544 had "Salisbury England" cast into the housing.
